Mark Dompier is the Director of Talent Management and Learning for PetSmart and oversees training, development and talent needs for more than 50,000 associates across the US and Canada. Mark and his team are responsible for the onboarding needs for 1,600 stores, 7 distribution centers and multiple Home Office locations. The team is also responsible for ongoing development offerings, talent planning and performance management for the enterprise. Prior to joining PetSmart in 2015, Mark led various learning teams within Target’s Organizational Effectiveness function. Additionally, he spent several years in Accenture’s consulting practice focused on learning and change management. Mark has a tremendous passion for learning. His passion and drive has resulted in numerous awards and recognition for both himself and his teams. He is a Learning profession that truly knows what it means to have a seat at the table. Mark has a BA in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University.
