Kim Pfeil is the Director, Learning and Development for the Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, headquartered in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Kim has served the organization since April 2017. Wawanesa, and its subsidiaries, has over 5,000 employees in multiple locations across Canada and in California. Kim oversees the Learning & Development function at Wawanesa, and is responsible for the strategic management of learning and development programming that contributes to the achievement of the company’s strategic goals and business objectives.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba, certificates in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from Queen’s University, Industrial Relations Centre, Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE). She is also certified in Prosci Change Management methodology and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
