Dr. Fred Bolton is the Leader Development Program Manager for the Defense Security Service and is responsible for all leader development activities for the 900-member DoD agency. Dr. Bolton has more than 25-years experience in adult higher education and prior to joining DSS, Dr. Bolton was a professor and Dean at a private university in Virginia. Dr. Bolton retired from the US Army in 2017 after more than 30-years of service, primarily in the reserve component, culminating his career with duty on the Joint Chiefs of Staff and as a faculty instructor at the US Army War College.
